Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated 17 August 2026 · Data requests: admin@rulethetop.com

1. Who is responsible

Rule the Top, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, decides how and why the information described here is processed. For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your data, email admin@rulethetop.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you send us. There is no account system on this site, and we do not buy or scrape contact data.

  • Information you enter into the audit or contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, the service you offer, your service area and anything you write in the message field
  • The contents of emails, calls or messages you send us
  • Standard technical information our hosting provider records to serve and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested

3. Why we use it

We use the information you send for these purposes and no others.

  • To prepare and send the audit or the answer you asked for
  • To contact you about your enquiry and any resulting engagement
  • To deliver, support and improve work we carry out for you
  • To keep records required for accounting and tax
  • To keep the site secure and working

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Where form submissions go

Form submissions are delivered to a private Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account and to our own email inbox, so that we can respond. Google acts as our processor for that storage; their handling is governed by Google's own privacy terms. Access is limited to the people who need it to answer your enquiry.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. The forms work as plain HTML posts and do not require cookies.

If we add website analytics to measure visits and improve pages, we will use privacy-respecting configuration and update this page to name the tool before doing so. Any analytics we run for a client's own website is covered by that client's privacy policy, not this one.

7. Access to your systems during an engagement

If you engage us, you may give us access to your website, analytics, search console or Google Business Profile. We use that access only to perform the agreed work, we do not export personal data belonging to your customers, and we remove our access when the engagement ends.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us. Records relating to an engagement are kept for as long as the law requires us to retain business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

9. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will. Email admin@rulethetop.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Submissions are stored in access-controlled accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the number of places your data lives deliberately small.

11. Children

This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new effective date. Where a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will tell you directly.
